Our first Manhattan cafe, 50 W. 23rd Street brings the vintage inspired feel of our Brooklyn outposts to the big city. Using a pair of La Marzocco FB80s sitting atop a one-of-a-kind art deco bar, our 23rd Street baristas deliver perfectly pulled espresso shots to fuel the Flatiron district. The spacious cafe is a time-warp in the best way. From the rotating pastry carousel to the free 45rpm jukebox, you will feel transported to a mid-century coffee lover’s idea of heaven.
50 West 23rd St. (between 5th and 6th Avenues)
New York, NY 10010 718-412-0080
Located on busy 23rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, our cafe is centrally situated in New York City’s Flatiron district. Named after the iconic, wedge-shaped Flatiron Building, the area was famous for its numerous small clothing and toy manufacturers in the mid 20th century. A few blocks away is scenic Madison Square Park, a 6.2 acre public park which is a great place to take a stroll with a cup of coffee.
Our spacious, chessboard-tiled cafe offers plenty of seating for those looking to take a break, meet with friends or do a bit of work. Our highly trained barista staff can make any espresso drink with precision. We offer plenty of pastries, drinks and other snacks. The cafe is also home to our one-of-a-kind full sized roulette coffee table. You may recognize our huge coffee bar, it was seen in numerous films before we purchased and brought it to Manhattan.
Nitro Cold Brew
50 23rd Street is the first cafe we offered Nitro Cold Brew on tap. We keg our 24 hour cold brew and infuse it with nitrogen gas as it is poured. The result is a creamy, stout-like taste and appearance and silky mouthfeel. While our Nitro Cold Brew is very popular among all cold brew lovers, those who enjoy their coffee without milk rave about the smoothness of nitrogen infusion.
