Brooklyn Summer: Seasonal Roast Collection

Brooklyn Summer: Seasonal Roast Collection

Brooklyn summer is not for the faint of heart.

The floods. The smog. The heat that hits you like a wall the second you step outside. New York summers are a lot. They always have been.

And yet, every morning, people get up and go. They're on the subway platform at 7am in 90-degree air, and waiting for the bus in the pouring rain. They’re loading delivery trucks as the sun comes up and hitting the gym before work. They're doing what they always do: showing up.

This summer, we have three coffees for the hardworking people of New York.

Summer Thunder

Some mornings feel like a fight before they even start. Summer Thunder is for those mornings.

This is our boldest summer collection roast. Ethiopian, Nicaraguan, and Brazilian coffees, each custom-roasted separately, then brought together into something with real bite. Tropical fruit up front, papaya and pineapple, then something deeper underneath. Volcanic earth. A little smoke. The kind of cup that wakes you all the way up.

When the city is already loud before 8am, you need a coffee that can keep pace.

Tasting notes: Papaya, pineapple, volcanic earth, toasted nuts.

Sweet Sunshine

Not every part of a Brooklyn summer is brutal. Some of it is perfect.

The morning light before the heat kicks in. The bodega guy who knows your order. The dog that wanders over to your picnic at Prospect Park. Your morning coffee on the fire escape.

Sweet Sunshine is for that. A Brazilian and a Peruvian coffee, roasted separately, blended into something easy and full and genuinely good. Toasted nuttiness, sweet milk chocolate, no drama. It delivers every single time.

Some things are just that good.

Tasting notes: Toasted hazelnut, sweet milk chocolate.

Cold Brew

When it is truly, punishingly hot, nobody wants to think about brewing coffee.

We get it. It’s why we developed this next roast.

Our cold brew roast starts with high-grown Peruvian coffee, roasted medium-dark at two different temperatures to pull out a melted chocolate and fresh berry character you would not expect. It’s the perfect roast for cold brewing ahead of time and waking up to.

We recommend steeping for 24 hours in cool water. Slow, gentle, no heat. The result is smooth, rich, and low-acid in a way that hot-brewed coffee isn’t.

Brooklyn summers require efficiency. This is efficient.

Tasting notes: Melted chocolate, fresh berry.

NYC summer is pure chaos and pure perfection. These three have you covered for all of it.
