We Opened the Doors. Here's What Happened.

Last Saturday, we did something we've been wanting to do for a while.

We opened up BRC Headquarters for a Group Tour and Tasting, and twelve people came to spend a morning with us. For anyone who has ever wondered what actually goes on inside the Navy Yard, this was the answer.

The morning started with a walk through the space. Guests sipped oatmilk lattes while we took them through the history of BRC and how everything works. What struck us most was how many questions people had. Good ones. The kind that turn a tour into a real conversation. The energy in the room was exactly what we hoped for.

From there, we sat down for a cupping. Groups of four, three coffees each, tasting together. If you've never done a proper cupping before, it changes the way you experience coffee. You slow down. You compare. You start noticing things you'd normally miss. Watching a room full of people go through that together is genuinely one of our favorite things.

Everyone left with a coffee they chose themselves, plus a gift bag: a 12oz bag, two comic books, and a can of coffee from our oatmilk latte lineup.

One guest runs an instagram page called Cup of Bro. He left a fan and made content about the day and his experience seeing the process up close. We love seeing the impact of learning together, and can't wait to build our community through these tours!

We also got honest feedback, which we loved. Guests want to come back. They want the next one to feel different from this one. Someone asked if we could bring in a magician. We are not ruling it out ;)

We're already thinking about what comes next. Different format, different tasting, different reason to show up. If you've been curious about what happens inside BRC, stay close. We're going to keep opening the doors.
